Community SupportThe SRWC is thankful for the generous support we received in 2020 from all aspects of the community during a year impacted so fundamentally by the pandemic. Local women gave time and talent… We are an all volunteer organization of actively engaged women committed to improving our local community through philanthropy, while providing social and community enrichment to our members and our neighborhoods. Our volunteers give their time and a wide spectrum of unique talents — leadership, managerial, financial, along with many more — enabling us to serve our members and community.
The community and members gave financially to support our neighbors in south Deschutes County … We are grateful for the overall increase in the number of donors we saw contributing as well as the increase in the amount of individual donations.
Business and Community groups gave their support… A special thank-you to these businesses and community groups who generously contributed to the SRWC especially as they also experienced pandemic restrictions.

An additional thank-you to Cafe Sintra, Grille at Crosswater, Sunriver Books & Music, Savory Spice Shop - Bend and Marcello’s Cucina Italiana, who supported membership in-person and virtual luncheons behind the scenes.
All of us together gave to support these SRWC programs…
Community support is vital for the SRWC to accomplish our philanthropy goals. Our goal is to provide a strong network of services that will improve the lives of the most vulnerable citizens in our south Deschutes County.
As a result of the community support for our fundraising efforts, the SRWC has given three quarters of a million dollars to nonprofits serving south Deschutes County since 1999.
