Scott Elnes is the morning anchor at Central Oregon Daily News. Born and raised in Seattle, he took his first television gig in Alaska, then discovered Central Oregon and knew it was where he belonged. His weekly segment "Little Did I Know" takes on a myriad of little-known aspects of our world, including mental health. In a recent episode, Scott discussed emotional trauma and how the topic of this luncheon talk, Gratitude, makes all the difference in the world and beyond.

Menu choices are:

-Bone in chicken breast with lemon caper butter sauce, rice pilaf and grilled asparagus
-Garlic and herb marinated shrimp Caesar salad
-Warm grilled vegetable Israeli cous cous salad with zucchini, corn, asparagus, bell peppers and garlic Harissa oil

Dessert: flourless chocolate tort 

Seating: Limited to reservations only.  *Registration starts on October 23rd

Cost: $30 without dessert and $35 with dessert.  We will be asking members to pay for monthly luncheons in advance online with a credit card. Paying in advance is necessary to ensure that our meal count is confirmed and helps to save volunteer time, as the treasurers do not have to manage money at the door.
