Description:
Some of you have requested a slow and easy mountain bike ride designed for those who want to try a single-track ride at an easy, confidence-building pace. This is that ride! There are no rock gardens or technically difficult sections. We’ll go as slow as the slowest rider wants to go. This ride is all about a fun and relaxing cruise with good friends in a beautiful park.
The route will follow the one scheduled for May 9, which some of us missed due to the Hwy 97 closure. It’s a 10.7 mile route, with a 446 foot elevation gain. The ride is split into three loops – the Deschutes River and Fall River, so if you’re tired after the first loop there’s an option to sit the second loop out.

Note: there are a few bathrooms along the route, if they're open.
Leader is Kathie Maier. Sweeper is Deb Periman.
Before you arrive for the ride, please read the guidelines for group rides here. If you need a visual reminder on commonly used bike signals, it’s available here.
