Hearty Soles 101 - learn the ins & outs of hiking with the HeartySoles Groupearty Soles 101 - a fun, informative meeting for new(ish) Hearty Soles members!

Please join us on May 6th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at #14 Aquila Lodge, Sunriver. We will cover many topics such as:

Advantages/responsibilities of hiking in a group
Safety on the Trail
What to carry in your backpack
Other items to bring for before/after the hike
How to lead/co-lead a hike (It's not as intimidating as you might think!)
Hearty Soles Hike List, and interactive map
The Central Oregon Permit system and how to obtain permits

Aquila Lodges can be tricky to find. They are close to the SROA offices between circles 3 and 4. Traveling North on Abbot, turn left on Sun Eagle Lane BEFORE the SROA office turn. This is the backroad to SR Maintenance (where the recycling center used to be) and the road is shared with Aquila Lodges. We will put some type of ribbons on a stand to help locate.

Need to cancel?
On the SRWC website, go to the calendar and click on the event. Click "Already Registered." Click "Cancel.” On the APP, go to "My tickets." Click CANCEL below the time/date.
If you are cancelling after registration closes on WI, Wild Apricot won’t let you cancel online so contact the leader directly.
