Topic:  The Civilian Conservation Corps in Oregon: A Living Legacy

Speaker:  Glenn Voelz

Glenn Voelz is a local author on Oregon history and serves on the board of the Deschutes County Historical Society. As a historian, he will share how an idea put millions of unemployed Americans to work during the depths of the Great Depression and restored our public lands.

Menu choices: 

Ribollita:  potatoes, fennel, cabbage, cannellini beans, Light tomato vegetable broth, tarragon oil, housemade focaccia    

Grilled garlic shrimp Caesar salad

Blackened chicken, creole cream sauce, rice pilaf, green beans

Dessert:  flourless chocolate torte, vanilla ice cream

Seating: Limited to 69 members.  

Cost: $32 without dessert and $37 with dessert.  Please reach out to programs@sunriverwomensclub.org if you need help registering.
